Township Accommodation and Tours

For tours to Cape Town's townships, including Khayelitsha, Nyanga, Guguletu and Langa, contact African Eagle Day Tours or Mallick Shuttle & Tours.

Mallick Shuttle and Tours include a visit to Mitchell's Plain. They can also arrange to drop you off at Malebo's Bed & Breakfast in Khayelitsha or  Ma Neo's Bed & Breakfast in Langa. Farouk Mallick can also arrange accommodation at his mother-in-law's home in Strandfontein. These hostesses welcome you to spend the night at their bed and breakfast establishments.

This is an initiative supported by Cape Town Tourism (Email: info@cape-town.org or telephone +21 426 4260) and the African Dream. The Cape Care Route is being promoted as a "Trail of Two Cities" and mentions some projects that focus on caring for people and the environment in various parts of Greater Cape Town. African Eagle Day Tours also visit District Six and the District Six Museum. They often also include a visit to Vicky's B&B, a fascinating bed and breakfast developed in a shack home made of corrugated iron, as opposed to a house. Vicky's has been featured in the media, including leading television stations.
