Usually there are warmer waters in False Bay, compared to the Atlantic side of the Cape Peninsula. Self-catering or bed & breakfast accommodation at A Whale of A Time is ideal for close access to beaches, historic Simonstown, atmospheric Kalk Bay and spectacular Cape Point Nature Reserve. Other parts of Cape Town are also easily accessible via good and scenic roads.
