To the West, the famous surfing mecca of Jeffrey's Bay is easy to reach and further on a return trip to the impressive Tsitsikamma forests and Storm's River mouth are possible. To the North, large game reserve habitats are opening up. One thinks especially of Addo Elephant National Park, where reportedly 4 of the big 5 are already located with mention of lions to be added in the not too distant future and then there are a number of private (& luxurious) reserves also open. All this and we have not even talked about Port Elizabeth yet! - a sophisticated city with plenty to do.
