Constantia Valley, Cape Town

The Constantia Valley is a beautiful part of Cape Town, surrounded on three sides by mountains and hills and along the 4th side it can be defined to be bounded by the historic Main Road that links Cape Town with Simonstown.

Suburbs located within the Constantia Valley include Constantia, Bergvliet, Meadowridge, Tokai, Kirstenhof as well as parts of Lakeside, Diep River, Plumstead and Wynberg.

Attractions within the valley include visits to wine farms such as Buitenverwachting, Constantia Uitsig, Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia and Steenberg Vineyards. On Wynberg Hill overlooking the Constantia Valley is Chart Farm. Further along the valley and nearer the Constantiaberg Mountain, there are forest and fynbos walks in Tokai Forest .
